Apr is filled with exciting events, and it sure marks one the most unforgettable month for me.

I am not a regular hiker, though I love mother nature a lot, I like to see flowers, trees, animals in the jungle. I like to walk in jungle, with all the greenery surrounding me.

This year, I have planned for a trip to climb Mountain Kota Kinabalu. I know that, I need to train for that, with my low-bat stamina, definately I need to work hard to improve my stamina. So, I started to exercise at least 3 times in a week, sometimes 5 days. I went to gym, aerobic, yoga, climbing, jogging etc.

I have never hiked Penang Hill before, but I have made it this month. Last time, I would think this is crazy, I wont believe I can make it. Ha.. I did it eventually. I have climbed Penang Hill for 3 times this month, the best record I have achieved was 1 hr 40 mins to reach the peak.

What is more ... I have also challenged myself to climb laksamana hill, one of the hill that I have never heard of after living in Penang for the past 20 years. Laksamana hills is considered one of the longest hill in Penang, if I am not mistaken, it consists of 5 hills. Starting from Teluk Pahang, one has to climb until Penang Hill. Total time taken for average people is around 7-8 hours, those with good stamina can easily take 3-4 hours. The whole trail is 11.3km.

.... Ah .. let's the pic tells the story of how exciting and challenging it is ..

The map shows the trail.

This is the best part !! We need to depend on the rope to go down. I tripped on one of the spot. Not serius, I have got used to fall down. =P

This is the best drink in the world. The fresh water from the hill without clorins or any chemical add into it. I drank a lot !! Thanks God, I found this small "stream" as I have totally out of water, and my body has been totally exhausted.

Signboard to guard us how long 2 go ..
